Time Week 1 – 09/01/20
Time? What is time? What is time to you? How do you perceive time? Yes, clearly what the subject’s title speaks, this is what was our first week of TIME was based on.
All of us were pulled of with the same question, what did time mean to us? We didn’t fell for the question for how easy seems to be answered. To sort all out we begin by writing on the board what time meant to us in a some words. For google time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole, as of to me, time is something that waits for none, just fleeting away without considering anything in the world. All of us came with several of different concepts, technicalities, perceptions, usage, etc and all of them lead to the diversified meaning of time.

The we moved our discussion further in depth to how each one of us perceived time. Surprisingly, it isn’t just a clock on the wall or a watch on our wrists through which one could perceive time but tons more. We could perceive time through the color of sky, through the seasons, events, traffic, growth, shadow appearance, schedule, memories, music, mood, technology, and the list never ends. When it comes down to me, i perceive time through my future plans for the day, through music and of course, my watch.
Can you narrate time? Yes, i can. Today, i learned this, a new way to narrate the time of my life through time itself. It’s quite easy than what i thought at first in my mind. Time of life can easily be segregated into different sections like the times with achievements to record all of your achievements till today’s date or else the times when you were stuck and depressed so that to consider how many times you’s fallen down but stood again. For each of one us time is different as we all of have lived differently and even our ways to perceive time could be different.
We were suggested to read a book, Einstein’s Dreams. I did borrow it from the library and ready one of the chapters where time has been assumed to be circular, i.e, repeating itself by time and this has been presented wonderfully. I really liked the idea and the perspective of this concept. It presented of how the world would be and how the people would live and trust me on this one was beautiful. People would meet for the first time, fall in love with the right one, get a job after along struggle, win an award for a debut film, and so many precious moments of life would happen when they’ll wonder of it not happening again, just that one time while it will happen again if we assume time to be circular in motion. They will forget about the moment, the feeling and it will happen again and they will feel the joy, the sadness, the anger and every emotion again like they never felt that before while they have already gone through the same before, they just forgot about it, and similarly the cycle goes on when time repeats itsel. Isn’t it lovely but scary? If you were to live a life like that, would you?
